As one of the things anticipated, GSC Game World is indeed very ambitious to prepare STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl which they hope will be completed in 2023. After it was announced that its development was suspended due to the war in Ukraine. Finally GSC Game World has released the latest gameplay trailer for Stalker 2 titled ‘Come to Me’

Through a 150-second trailer, GSC Game World shows off the latest visuals for STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl. With Unreal Engine 5, which is arguably the most modern game engine, it can look so ambitious and a premium game that takes place in the city of Pripyat. The game itself is targeted for release sometime in 2023 for the Windows platform, Xbox Series X/S, and will immediately enter Game Pass Day One!

The development of STALKER 2 itself has been quite long and has gone through various obstacles, especially recently. First announced in 2010, the game was originally planned for a 2012 release. However, due to GSC’s mass layoffs, the game was canceled and can be said to be supernatural. It was later reannounced at the E3 2021 Microsoft/Bethesda panel event and planned for a 2022 release.

But as we know, Ukraine, where the GSC Games World office is located, has changed the battlefield. So the game production was canceled in total. Finally, GSC decided to move the development of Stalker 2 to Czechoslovakia and all the games are finished for a 2023 release.
