Forspoken, the new game from Luminous Productions and Square Enix, is coming to the PlayStation 5 and PC.
The title will tell the story of Frey, a young woman from New York who ends up being teleported to a hostile world called Athia. If you’re wondering how long it will take you to complete this story, whether you own the game or plan to purchase it, we’ve got all the details for you.
How long is the Square Enix title?
Now that the review embargo has been lifted, various outlets have revealed approximately how long it takes to complete the game’s main story.
Calculating an average, the main story can be completed between 12 and 18 hours. Without a doubt, this is far less than the 40 hours that one of the game’s directors had promised in an interview. There will probably be a couple more hours of entertainment if we add the side quests or tasks.
If we compare it with previous releases, the game only compares to The Callisto Protocol (12-14 hours) in its base duration. This one falls far behind other recent titles like Pokémon Scarla y Púrpura (21 hours), Gotham Knights (20 hours) and God of War: Ragnarok (25 and a half).

Forspoken is coming exclusively for the PlayStation 5 and PC. At the moment it is unknown how long this exclusive will be, but at the moment there are no signs for an Xbox version.
