For the third year in a row, Bad Bunny has the throne of Spotify’s most streamed artist worldwide in 2022. The Puerto Rican topped the list, once again, of Spotify Wrapped , an annual summary of all the artists and songs that users listened to on the platform.
Bad Bunny before Taylor Swift and BTS
Taylor Swift , Drake, The Weeknd and BTS join the Bad Rabbit on Spotify’s world chart. The last two years have been a success for Benito and this year was no exception, with his blockbuster “Moscow Mule” and “Tití me Pregunto”, which are part of the successful album Un Verano Sin Ti, nominated for Album of the Year at this year’s Grammys .
As a token of appreciation for the urban music singer, Spotify used the heart from the Un Verano Sin Ti album cover on a balloon at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year.
In the US market, Drake was the most listened to this year on Spotify, followed by Taylor Swift. Although Kanye West has been cancelled, he also appeared in the top five in the US.
