Who was Aranza Peña?
In 1997 the town of Salina Cruz in the southern state of Oaxaca saw the birth of Aranza Peña; 25 years later that same town bid farewell to the young actress who at her young age managed to make inroads in different projects for Mexican television.
Aranza Peña was the daughter of Sergio Peña Aburto, ex-regidor of Oaxaca, and despite the fact that on multiple occasions the young woman demonstrated her pride and love for her place of origin, at only 16 years of age she decided to move to Mexico City to consolidate her dream of becoming an actress.
Upon her arrival to the Mexican capital, Aranza Peña entered the Centro de Formación Actoral para Televisión (Cefat) at TV Azteca in 2013, however it would be at Televisa’s Centro de Educación Artística (CEA) where she would graduate as an actress.
It is worth mentioning that the CEA of the Factory of Dreams has trained renowned actors and actresses such as Aracely Arámbula, Ana de la Reguera, Galilea Montijo, Fernando Colunga, among others.
In the particular case of Aranza Peña, the young actress was poised to achieve success within the San Angel television station, because once she graduated from CEA, she began to work on important Televisa projects.
This is how her fame began to grow thanks to her participation in high rating programs such as La rosa de Guadalupe or Como dice el dicho, however, previously the young Oaxacan actress had already participated in small projects such as La hora nacional or Esta historia me suena.
It is worth mentioning that, along with her career as an actress, Aranza Peña’s name began to appear on social networks as one of the most recognized influencers in the country, as the young actress already had almost 100 thousand followers on her Instagram account.
Although Aranza Peña began to consolidate her career on the small screen, in her social media profile the 25-year-old used to share her love for traveling, highlighting the road trip she made in recent months in Europe.
However, among her photographs in the most emblematic places of countries such as Spain, France, Italy or Holland, also highlighted the content that the young actress uploaded about her place of origin in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca and for which she was considered as a promoter of the traditions of her state.
Details of Aranza Peña’s death
The death of the young actress caused great controversy in social networks because, although any death is regrettable, in the case of Aranza Peña the young age at which the young woman’s dreams and projects were frustrated stood out.
According to initial reports, the 25-year-old actress lost her life in a car accident on Saturday night, August 6, in the Hidalgo Poniente neighborhood of her native Salina Cruz, Oaxaca. The young woman had crashed her vehicle at high speed into a pole.
