IMPORTANT: We deliberately did not include data from several new games, such as Tower of Fantasy, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, and MementoMori, which were always included regularly before. The reason is because these games are only a few months old, so we want to make sure that the ranking this time is fairer and only includes games that have existed from the beginning to the end of 2022. Here are the full details:
Anime RPG Mobile Game Revenue – January – December 2022
- Genshin Impact – IDR 24 Trillion
- Fate/Grand Order – IDR 8 Trillion
- Arknights – IDR 3 Trillion
- Honkai Impact 3rd – IDR 2 Trillion
- Blue Archive – IDR 1.5 Trillion
- Azur Lane – IDR 1.5 Trillion
- Fire Emblem Heroes – IDR 1.2 Trillion
There’s no doubt that Genshin Impact will definitely occupy the top spot. 2022 is quite a special moment for the fans, especially with the many interesting updates that are still being released consistently to the arrival of the new Sumeru region. Its income has even tripled, surpassing Fate/Grand Order which had to give up in second place with IDR 8 trillion.
The next position is occupied by Arknights which does have an active community base with a fairly even distribution of revenue contribution in each region, especially every time a major update is released. The rest is nothing that is so interesting and quite predictable except for Fire Emblem Heroes which has a fairly consistent income, even though it is quite a bit lower.

For those who might be curious about Punishing Gray: Raven which is indeed classified as one of the most popular anime RPG mobile games at the moment, it can be seen from the screenshot table above that the game only managed to earn a total of USD 40,433,792 or around IDR 631 billion. Still relatively high, of course, but this is not enough to compete with other popular RPG games in the Top 7 list above.
We have converted the data above directly to IDR to make it easier to see and is a combination of all regions. Mobile RPG’s revenue data we take through the AppMagic platform on January 3, 2022 for period of 1 January – 31 December 2022.
